St Bernard's 42nd Annual Bloomin' Arts and Crafts Festival
Bloomin’ Festival is a two-day juried arts festival attracting more than 25,000 visitors to the beautiful campus of St. Bernard Abbey and Preparatory School. More than 150 booths are filled with artists demonstrating and exhibiting their unique handcrafted work. The festival is the largest fundraiser annually for the operation and maintenance of St. Bernard Prep.
Alabama Strawberry Festival
What began in 1939 as the Cullman Strawberry Festival has grown into the Alabama Strawberry Festival, becoming one of the state’s most beloved spring traditions. Held each April in downtown Cullman, the festival blends fresh strawberries, live music, artisan vendors, and family-friendly attractions into a high-energy weekend experience. Rooted in local heritage but scaled for a statewide audience, the festival celebrates both Cullman’s past and Alabama’s love for coming together.
A free two day arts & music festival with a strong vendor element. Over 80 vendors on site, two stages featuring headlining and supports acts. ASF also features a large kid zone with carnival style rides, a farmer's market, roaming entertainers and musical acts, artisan workshops, and strawberry themed everything.
North Alabama Scottish Festival & Scottish Games
The highly anticipated North Alabama Scottish Festival and Highland Games is set to debut, promising a vibrant celebration of Scottish heritage, spirited athletic competitions, and family-friendly entertainment for all ages. This year’s festival will bring together clans, athletes, musicians, dancers, and enthusiasts to honor centuries-old traditions and create unforgettable memories.

• Traditional Highland Games: Cheer on skilled athletes as they compete in classic events such as the caber toss, stone put, hammer throw, and tug-of-war, showcasing strength, technique, and camaraderie.

Rocketcity Scottish Fest & Highland Games
Join us on May 3, 2025, for a one-of-a-kind celebration of America’s and Alabama’s Scottish roots! This family-oriented event blends traditional Scottish culture with modern entertainment—featuring Highland athletes, clans, pipers, drummers, live music, food trucks, and even a Highland cow named Licorice. Gates open at 9:00 AM, with opening ceremonies and the Parade of Tartans at 10:00 AM, and the festivities continue until the closing ceremony at 5:00 PM. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a day full of heritage and fun!
